Things get a little tight on the chest this week on “Days of our Lives” (DOOL) as the characters deal with grief over a lost loved one, struggles with attachments and secrets that have been hidden for a long time. However, the show will make viewers feel light hearted at some point with some sweet Christmas themes.

On Monday, December 12, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) catch up and go over their struggles from losing their loved ones. A closer look at this episode synopsis reveals that Eve will try to help Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) cope with her loss. Brady Black (Eric Martsoff) and Eve inadvertently run into Jen who is on her way home after getting Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) prescription. Of course, Brady gets worried that Jennifer might get hooked on those pills once again.
Jennifer will do her best to get out of this situation but Eve will still want to sit down for a chat. Spoilers reveal that Eve will open up about how she felt when she lost Paige (Tru O’Brien). She will then admit that it always puts her through a constant struggle but she has faith that things will get better in time.
Soaps She Knows reveals that on Tuesday, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) share some romance as he presents her with an advanced Christmas Gift.
On Wednesday, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) supports Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis (Judi Evans) through her ordeal.
On Thursday, Abigail finally gets ready to let Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) know that she has been alive all this time. Coco (Lauren Letherer) and Sheila (Tionne Watkins) make plans to take down Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).
On Friday, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will put JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) to the test.
