‘Days of our Lives' spoilers for Aug. 31 - Sept. 4: Murder mystery plot thickens, suspect named
The plot thickens in Salem’s murder mystery on the Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 episodes of “Days of Our Lives.” Chad (Billy Flynn) will be among the likely suspects that’s why he must make a crucial decision to clear his name.

On Monday, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will make a shady phone call, which will reveal an ulterior motive. He will be calling someone and share some details during their conversation that will create questions for fans about things that he might be hiding.
On Tuesday, John (Drake Hogestyn) will bring Marlena (Deidre Hall) on a romantic trip down memory lane. He will prove his love and devotion to her. He will show Marlena that things have already changed and that it would be a good idea to give him another chance at rekindling their relationship.
On Wednesday, Justin (Wally Kurth) will become the new District Attorney and quickly collide with Rafe (Galen Gering) in the murder investigation. He will immediately encounter a number of challenges in his new position, We Love Soaps reveals. As expected, Salem will be dealing with a murder mystery. Rafe believes that Chad should be the primary suspect, considering how he was the one who last spent the night with Serena (Melissa Archer). However, Justin believes that there is still more to determine and that Chad may not be their guy.
On Thursday, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will battle with herself on whether should accept Aiden’s proposal and become his wife. Hope will talk to Ciara (Lauren Boles) about it and she just might consider the marriage proposal.
Chad will be desperately in need of help and will ask for support from his father, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) . Stefano will offer to clean Chad’s record if he will pursue Abigail (Kate Mansi) again. Chad will have to choose between going after Abigail to clear his name or look for evidence that would remove him from the list of suspects.
On Friday, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will have to settle things with an angry Joey ( James Lastovic) , Soaps She Knows reported.
Hope will feel torn over whether or not she should marry Aiden, but Chad will have to make big decisions. Stefano will provide some advice to Chad, but it will also include a proposal. The following episodes will unveil whether Chad will take the deal.
