'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Aug 24: Aiden’s new job may expose Hope’s bloody secret; person behind Tatenapping case is revealed
Fans may have a hard time catching their breath on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”), filled with shocking developments in Salem. On Wednesday, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) gets a massive opportunity that he could definitely play to his advantage, especially for retribution.
It is highly unfortunate for Hope (Kristian Alfonso), who might be targeted by Aiden out of vengeance. Followers of the long-running soap know that Hope has bloods in her hands, and Aiden’s new role just might uncover the truth about Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) death. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Aug.24 installment include Rafe (Galen Gering), Roman (Josh Taylor), Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), Theresa (Jen Lilley), Brady (Eric Martsolf) and John (Drake Hogestyn).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Aiden takes over as Salem’s new DA after Justin’s forced resignation. Rafe and Roman worry that Aiden, in the course of his new appointment, uncover the identity of Stefano’s murderer. Meanwhile, Nicole begs Deimos to come clean about the Tatenapping case. Elsewhere, Theresa, Brady and John finally get ahold the woman who flew Tate to Chicago and compelled her to rat out who’s the kidnapping mastermind.

On Tuesday, Belle arrived at the DiMera mansion and saw Chad in a terrible state. Chad informed Belle that it might be best for Thomas to stay with Jennifer. When Belle tried to argue, he fired her as his lawyer. Elsewhere, Jennifer holed herself up in a run-down motel with alcohol and pills. Jack’s ghost appeared and tried to discourage her from falling off the wagon, for the sake of JJ and Thomas. However, after her vision of Jack, she succumbed to her depression and took the vodka and pills. Later, Paul told Belle about Jennifer’s activities. Paul was surprised when Belle appeared sad and kept mum about using that fact in the custody battle. After walking out on Paul, Belle went to the motel and found Jennifer sleeping.
