In the August 1 to 5, 2016 week of “Days of Our Lives” (DOOL), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will be compelled to ask for help from an unlikely source.

Previously, there were some developments about Tate’s kidnapping. Tate is still missing and although Theresa (Jen Lilley) is convinced that Summer (Marie Wilson) is behind it all, John (Drake Hogestyn) has been active in his investigation. He found some more clues related to the Chopin Group in Greece. John and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are also interested in asking Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) some questions about the situation.
Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Paige Searcy) has been bonding a lot lately, but her father will find them kissing and be furious. Joey will also be struggling with his emotions related to the killing of Ava. The two, however, will most likely stay strong as a couple despite their challenges.

On Tuesday, John and Marlena (Deidre Hall) will have a romantic moment together. Caroline (Peggy McCay) will have a surprising vision.
On Wednesday’s episode, Gabi (Camila Banus) will have a terrifying incident.
On Thursday, Deimos and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will bring their relationship to the next level.
On Friday, August 5, Jennifer will imaging that Jack is giving her comfort.
TV Overmind writes that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) marriage is currently struggling. Although he dealt with Ava only to find her, Kayla has been fighting her demons lately. She may be on the verge of cheating on Steve as well.
In a future huge storyline, several familiar characters will be coming back to “Days of Our Lives.” Some of the people who will appear soon include Patsy Pease (Kim), Charles Shaughnessy (Shane) and Larry Pointdexter (Father Louis). The plot will happen sometime in Christmas.
According to Ken Corday, Abigail (Marci Miller) will come back after Christmas. Nicole will also have a plot centered around her with a return from the past, together with a baby story.
Meanwhile, Chloe is keeping a huge secret that no one else knows and will probably have big effects. Ciara will push Theo away. However, Claire will be interested in him.
