David Beckham uses his tattoos in a UNICEF campaign video that highlights the immediate need to protect children from violence, both psychological and physical. The football legend stars in the video which was released on Monday.

The former footballer is the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF. Other than his football skills, he is also known for a wide range of tattoos that he displays on his body. In the video, he makes use of these tattoos to showcase the types of violence that children are subjected to. Scenes of violence appear on Beckham’s body in the form of animated tattoos.

“David's own tattoos were marks chosen to represent happy or important memories,” wrote UNICEF. “Millions of children bear marks of physical, emotional or sexual abuse that they have not chosen.”

The #ENDviolence video is getting promoted on different social media sites. Beckham writes about child abuse in his official Facebook page, “It's wrong. End it.”

UNICEF’s video shows that most of the children are abused by their own parents, other children, caregivers, police, and so on. It exposes the truth that children experience violence at places where they are meant to be safe.

David Beckham has been associated with UNICEF for more than 10 years now. He has travelled all across the world for supporting the cause of the organisation.
