Dave Franco and long-time girlfriend Alison Brie are engaged. Brie revealed the exciting news during a red carpet appearance at the London West Hollywood on Tuesday for the screening of her new film “Sleeping With Other People.”

A photo shared by E! Online shows the 32-year old Alison wearing the sparkling gem to match the white dress she wore to the screening of her new movie with Jason Sudeikis. The sparkling Irene Neuwirth-designed engagement ring is said to be made from a one-of-a-kind rose gold set with rose cut diamond and diamond pave.

Details have yet to be revealed as to when Dave popped the question to his girlfriend of three years. Brie’s representative exclusively confirmed the news to E! Online.

The 30-year old actor’s brother, James, also confirmed the engagement news on his Facebook page with a congratulatory message. The actor shared a photo of the couple walking hand-in-hand along with the message, “Congrats Davy and Allison!!! engaged!!! I WUUUUUV YOU.” His post has since received over 71,000 likes and 879 shares, as of this writing. Facebook users also shared their best wishes for the newly engaged couple while others expressed how crushed they are over the news.

Brie, who has appeared in “Mad Men” and “Community,” reportedly started dating the “21 Jump Street” actor since January 2012. However, they have remained private about their relationship. The couple is rarely photographed together on public events. According to E! Online, they even walked the red carpet separately when they attended the Met Gala in the spring.

However, they were spotted sitting next to each other while watching the Dior Home Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show in Paris in June. They also co-starred in a hilarious clip for Funny Or Die called “Dream Girl” in 2013.

In “Sleeping With Other People,” Brie plays a character opposite herself in real life. Whereas she’s engaged to Dave in real life, in the film she plays Lainey, a woman who seems to have commitment or relationship issues. Lainey develops a platonic relationship with a womaniser, played by Sudeikis, that ultimately help both of them see relationships in a different light. The Leslye Headland-directed romantic comedy is scheduled for release in U.S. theatres on Sept. 11. It was also screened at the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) 2015 on Aug. 2 and 5.
