'Dark Knight' star Anne Hathaway gives perfect baby surprise, names baby boy Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman
Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman have surprised everybody with news of their newborn baby, who they have named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. The two welcomed the baby boy on March 24 in Los Angeles. The Oscar-winning actress has always been very excited by the idea of becoming a mum and finally she has joy in her arms.
In previous interviews, Hathaway mentioned that she always thought of becoming a mother and loving her children fiercely and that she couldn’t wait to meet them. E! News confirmed the news of Hathaway’s delivery in March and has also revealed that the baby is in good health and surrounded by friends and family in Los Angeles. Most importantly, Hathaway and hubby Shulman are ecstatic and proud to be parents.
However, people are perplexed of the fact that in this age of media and technology, the two were able to keep the news secret. They managed to do so in complete privacy and must be applauded for this achievement.
Even though the “Dark Knight” actress expressed her desire to be a mum, she kept the news of her pregnancy under wraps till January 2016. The actress had also spoken about adopting and how she would like to expand her family.
“I’ll start with one healthy kid but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’d like to have as many (kids) as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special,” Hathaway had told The Telegraph earlier.
In January 2016, she posted a photo of her on Instagram showing her baby bump and in a two-piece red bikini. She had the perfect New Year message for her fans.
“Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter. Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!” she captioned the photo.
