Marvel has shared the first look of Charlie Cox in and as "Daredevil." The TV series is set to premiere in 2015 on Netflix. They also shared a sneak preview of the show with the fans at the New York Comic Con event. The teaser trailer has not been made available to the general public yet.

Charlie Cox, who is known for his role in movies like "Stardust" and TV shows like "Boardwalk Empire," will be playing the role of Matt Murdock. Murdock is a blind lawyer in New York City who has his other sense heightened to supernatural levels.

He uses his powers to fight crime and evil doers by wearing a mask and taking on the name "Daredevil." Marvel has released the look of the costume Charlie Cox will be wearing as the superhero. Click here to see the new look.

The concept art and the costume in "Daredevil" TV series are seen to be black in colour. The role of the blind superhero was played by Ben Affleck in the 2003 movie with the same name, but was seen wearing a red costume in the movie.

The other cast members of the show include Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Scott Glen as Stick, Toby Leonard Moore as Wesley, Geoffery Cantor as Ellison, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Vondie Curtis-Hall as Ben Urich and Bob Gunton as Leland Owlsely.

The "Daredevil" TV series executive producers are Steven S. DeKnight, who is known for his work in popular TV series like "Spartacus," "Buffy: The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel," and Drew Goddard, known for his work in "Cabin in the Woods," "Lost" and "Buffy: The Vampire Slayer." In Feb 2014 Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, The Walt Disney Company, Marvel and Netflix announced that the TV series will be filmed in the state of New York.

This will be the first original series by Marvel to feature on Netflix. The show will be produced in association with ABC Studios. The exact air date of the premiere episode of "Daredevil" TV series has still not been revealed.
