A Danish Royal family portrait has been declared the creepiest royal portrait by the critics. The portrait was believed so scary and creepy that it could be compared to "Addam's family."

Dailymail.co.uk has reported that after examining the portrait, it seemed Halloween is back. The portrait of Queen Margrethe II, her two sons and their families have been painted similar to a horror film.

After the image went viral on the Internet, one tweeted, "Is the Danish Royal Family starring in a sequel to The Omen?"

The portrait has the young Prince Christian dominating the portrait with black bags underneath his eyes. Next to him sits his sister Isabella who looks like a creepy doll creature with blue-brown lips.

Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Princess Mary are standing in the background with their two youngest twins: Vincent and Isabelle.

Prince Joachim and his Marie are standing opposite Frederik and Mary, with their daughter Princess Athena.

The floor is embraced by Prince Felix and Prince Nikolai, the two sons from Prince Joachim's first marriage.

Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik are painted sitting in the centre.

The creepy picture painted by Thomas Kluge is being displayed at the Amalienborg Museum in Denmark.

Art Expert Dennis Dahlqvist told Aftonbladet, "It is a bit creepy with the children, but that disappears when you have studied the image for a while. It is an interesting image which is partly very photographic but which has borrowed light and color from Dutch 17th century painting."

'The first thing which hits me is that you can see the Queen's hands very clearly displayed, and it is traditionally so, that royals show them to show their decisiveness."

Although the portrait is receiving a lot of flak from the people worldwide, let us know what you think about it.
