British actor Daniel Radcliffe shared his fascination for scary movies and his joy in being part of thriller "The Woman in Black."

Last year, Daniel Radcliffe bid goodbye to his iconic role as a young wizard that marked a decade of the actor's career. Now, he embarks in new and more challenging roles.

"The Woman in Black" is the first thriller film that Daniel joined. The film is the comeback film for British production house Hammer Films, which specializes in horror films from 1950s until late 1970s.

Daniel said that he was delighted to be part of the film as Hammer Films is a big part of British movie history. Moreover, his role is all about the stillness and emotion as there are minimal dialogue but more creepiness and actions. Daniel said that he did not talked much in the film until the middle part that makes the film more exciting.

The movie was adapted from the chilling novel of Susan Hill of the same title. Radcliffe will play the main role as the young lawyer Arthur Kipps who was sent to go through the documents in a deserted manor house. The big abode is haunted by a malevolent spirit that lures a child's death with each sighting. Kipps venture in darkened rooms of the house where he should not be in.
