“Dancing With The Stars” 2016 a.k.a. DWTS Season 22 finale airs Monday on ABC, showcasing the finale performances from this year’s stunning stars – model and actor Nyle DiMarco, UFC fighter and model Paige VanZant, and broadcast meteorologist Ginger Zee.

(UPDATE: Nyle and Peta won the Mirrorball trophy! The announcement was made live Tuesday on ABC.)

The emotional memory of Nyle DiMarco dancing blindfolded with Peta in the DWTS semi-finals a week ago is still fresh in an avid fan’s mind. The duo meant to draw people in into their unusual process, and the rave audience reviews (as well as their grand finalist status) suggest a huge success.

“Every week, people are inspired because I’m deaf, but at the same time [I was wondering]: Do they really understand what it means to be deaf and be in my world,” Nyle said in an interview with Garcelle Beauvais and Tanner Thomason of “Hollywood Today Live” (episode originally aired on May 20).

DiMarco’s professional dancing partner, Peta Murgatroyd, last won in DWTS Season 14 (with Donald Driver). Audience reviews in social media sites are favourable, mostly due to the creative manner by which Peta and Nyle treated their choreography with thoughtful punctuations every single time, most notably Nyle’s blindfolded moments in the semi-finals.

DiMarco is widely expected to win, but Paige VanZant did some amazing things, too, in the DWTS 22 semi-finals. Her extra steamy tango moves with her professional partner, 2-time DWTS winner Mark Ballas, received a solid ten each from judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. However, head judge Len Goodman thought the dance bordered on not safe for primetime broadcast. Watch their tango video below.

TV meteorologist Ginger Zee and her professional partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy were also among the best in the semi-finals albeit they had fewer solid, captivating moments like Nyle’s blindfold moment and Paige’s erotic-over-the-table lines.

Will Ginger and Valentin surprise the judges and the audience in the grand finale of “Dancing With The Stars” Season 22?

Meanwhile, Rumer Willis and Bindi Irwin, DWTS Season 20 and 21 winners, respectively, recently looked back to their journey on “Dancing With The Stars.” Incidentally, Rumer was Valentin’s celebrity partner on his first DWTS win.
