Star of “Dance Moms” Abby Lee Miller has just surrendered herself to the FCI facility located in Victorville, California. This is where her 366-day prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud begins. Earlier, Miller tweeted that it was going to be a tough day before suggesting that some important facts were omitted from her case.

Sources said Miller arrived at the facility after noon, a couple of hours prior to her 2 p.m. deadline. Reports say that Lifetime crew and cameras accompanied her to the check-in point. This looks like they have the intention of using the footage for an upcoming special in Lifetime that will again feature the 50-year-old reality show star.

E! reports that the dance instructor was initially indicted on fraud charges for concealing a big part of her income back in 2015. This resulted to a criminal case that ended with a sentence two months ago while being given 45 days to report.

The “Dance Moms” star has always been dedicated to teaching dance to people of all ages, but it looks like things will be different behind bars. The prison inmate’s handbook shows a variety of information that includes food, education and recreation services. It looks like Miller will have a new reality for the next 366 days.

Authorised clothing for inmates include khaki pants, long- or short-sleeved khaki shirts, safety shoes and socks. Tank tops are allowed in the recreation yard, but all shirts must be tucked in between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They can visit the central laundry area twice a week, excluding the first full week of each month. They can purchase laundry detergent from the Commissary. They can drop off their laundry in the morning and pick their items up the next.

The facility also offers vocational training and occupational programs. Inmates can learn about solar panel installation, waste management, bike construction, computer programming and a lot more. They can also enjoy a variety of hobby, music, craft and exercise programs. These include pilates, abs class, yoga for fitness. For those who are more into arts and crafts, they can enjoy mural painting, stick art, ceramics. They can get bonus prizes for doing well.

According to Radar Online, Abby's first few days was "hell" for her, and she has made enemies after the facility disabled communication lines to the outside world for all inmates. Different from her previous life, she now eats on a US$1.10-per-day budget and has been working on a measly per-hour rate.
