All doors and windows have been closed for a possible reunion with wrestler CM Punk and Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment. With an avenue closing, a new road opens for the famous personality as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) head honcho Dana White is open to the possibility of business talks with the recently ousted WWE talent.

Punk has roots in mixed martial arts and has trained in Brazil where he earned a jiu-jitsu training under the Gracies. He is also a constant follower of the fights in the Octagon and has major fan following in the WWE, which is a recipe for a UFC partnership. White says he is open to it and is willing to sit down with the former wrestler turned comic book writer during the press conference in New York celebrating the partnership of the UFC with shoe giant Reebok.

"He is a big fan," White told TMZ. "I like him very much. He's a great dude. I don't know if he can fight or anything like that, but sure. I wouldn't mind talking to CM Punk."

Punk is the news recently after appearing in the podcast of The Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana. The ousted wrestler revealed in the controversial interview that he did not resign from the company but was actually fired unceremoniously on the day of his wedding to fellow talent and Diva AJ Lee. Apart from the bombshell, Punk also divulges the erring medical practice of the wrestling outfit as well as his strained relationship with power couple Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

The 36-year-old wrestler was very critical of the organization which forces its talents to come out of the ring when they are not yet medically cleared to do so. He also went into detail how the company has been shorting him in his idea which include the usage of UFC style shorts which could have gained massive following for the company, His idea was shot down only for Punk to witness months later for the WWE to allow UFC-style shorts which were brought in vogue by current heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

White not only addressed the Punk possibility in the Octagon but also relayed that he will be open to a reunion with a former talent, Lesnar who is reportedly leaving the WWE when his contract is up by March 2015. The UFC President stated that he is just waiting for Lesnar's side to contact him so they can commence negotiations.
