Fans have been waiting for announcements on “Da Vinci’s Demons” Season 3 premiere date announcement from the showrunners or Starz. However, the show’s Facebook and Twitter pages have been posting only look-back photos off episodes that fans have already seen.

On Facebook, the show’s social media organisers asked the fans to name the invention that Leonardo da Vinci crafted in order to get to the Vault of Heaven. Some respondents gave the right answer (Scorpion), and asked to have Season 3 as their reward. Others just replied, saying the better question is: Where is Season 3?

A video of the cable network’s Season 3 teaser was released via YouTube early this year. Tom Riley, Laura Haddock, Blake Ritson and other members of the cast are featured in the clip, giving their insights on what happens next in “Da Vinci’s Demons” Season 3.

"The first two hours are like a 2-hour war movie," Riley says in the abovementioned "Da Vinci's Demons" Season 3 promo clip. In the same clip, Ritson says the series is "bigger, badder, bloodier than ever." For her part, Haddock speaks about Lucrezia’s “poor choices” and how there would be a “beaming light” in all the darkness of the new season.

The waiting feels even longer for the show’s viewers who also watch “Game of Thrones” Season 5. This is because Alexander Siddig is currently on the HBO show as Prince Doran Martell. Siddig, who plays Aslan Al-Rahim ak.a. The Turk in “Da Vinci’s Demons,” has an emotional Season 3 scene with Riley in the promo video.

Many fans believed “Da Vinci’s Demons” Season 3 premiere would be around June this year (summertime in the U.S.) but Starz has been quiet on its schedule.

International Business Times Australia has tried to reach out to Starz for some answers on “Da Vinci’s Demons” Season 3 premiere date, but there has been no comment as of this writing. Season 2 premiered in Australian TV in the first quarter of 2014.
