Washington Nationals' Cutter Dykstra is officially engaged to actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler. The announcement was made on Twitter along with a photo of the couple, with Jamie flashing her new bling.

Sigler who is best known for her role as Meadow Soprano in "The Sopranos" got engaged with her baseball star boyfriend Cutter Dykstra. The couple was more than happy to share the great news to their fans by tweeting updates of their fresh engagement.

"She said yes!!" Dykstra posted on his Twitter account.

"Thank you so much for all the love everyone. I am so happy and more importantly lucky!" Sigler then followed up after Cutter's tweet.

According to reports from The Los Angeles Times, Sigler's representative has confirmed the news adding that the two are both very happy as well as their families and friends.

"They both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends," the spokesperson said.

Cutter has been dating the former "Entourage" actress for about a year. Shortly after being introduced to each other through a common friend, Cutter and Sigler made their relationship public on March of last year.

"Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends," a source told on US Weekly.

Glee star, Lea Michele was one of the very first who congratulated the couple. Using her Twitter account, she greeted her fellow actress and sent out her warm wishes.

"Congratulations to my good friend @JamieLSigler and her new fiance on their engagement! So happy for you both!!" Lea tweeted.
