Batman poses dramatically in "Batman: Arkham Knight." https://www.batmanarkhamknight.com/

The “Crime Fighter Challenge Pack” is now available for download to those who own “Batman: Arkham Knight.” This downloadable content, or DLC, pack features special combat-oriented challenges and lets players control Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman and of course, Batman. The pack was seemingly made to address some of the complaints about the game, most notably the lack of challenge missions for other playable characters in the game.

Each character gets one mission each, except for Batman, as he comes with both a combat challenge and a stealth-oriented predator one. There is also a team-up challenge where players can control both Batman and Robin. This mission will play similarly to the team-up missions in the main story campaign, where players can execute double team moves to take foes down in brutal fashion.

Geeksnack stated that this would be the first of four DLC packs that will be coming this September. Other content that will be coming this month includes a short Nightwing story called “GCPD Lockup,” the 2008 Tumbler Pack featuring the Batmobile from Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy and the original “Arkham Asylum” skin from the first game in the series. So far no release date has been given for the rest of the September content.

Fans who purchased the $40 season pass will gain instant access to these new challenge missions, while those who haven’t will have to pay $1.99, according to a report from Destructoid. The pack is already available for all regions and should already be seen in both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

Another DLC pack that has been teased by Rocksteady is the “Season of Infamy” story content. This will apparently have players control Batman as he takes on a number of classic foes like Killer Croc, Mister Freeze and Ra’s Al Ghul.

So far, there still seems to be no update from Rocksteady regarding the PC version of “Arkham Knight” and when the DLC will be available for that version of the game. As of this writing, the only DLC available for the PC version is the “Gotham’s Future” skin pack featuring costumes from “The Dark Knight Returns” and “Batman Beyond.”
