Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas is reportedly not invited to the christening of Prince George, Harry's nephew. Observers of the royals say that Bonas not being on the guest list may mean Cressy and Harry are not yet ready to tie the knot in 2014.

While news of Bonas being included in the guest list appeared Monday, a family friend said that the invite is not real.

A family friend of Cressida Bonas told People Magazine, "It was always so unlikely that she would be invited." The source added, "To say she is shy and mulling it over is rubbish."

A well-placed observer of the royals say that Bonas's appearance at a royal family occasion as intimate as Prince George's christening would "put unwanted pressure" on Cressy and Prince Harry. "If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged," the observer said.

The guest list, according to sources, only has 60 people and that Princess Anne and Sophie are not even invited. There is no confirmation however on who is on the guest list to Kate Middleton's and Prince William's first son. But reports say that the intimate service is kept to immediate family of the boy - his parents, and friends whom the royal couple chose to be Prince George's godparents.

Dubbed as the "Christening of the Year", the service will be held at St. James's Palace.

In a video released Tuesday, the Archibishop of Canterbury, who will be conducting the service for Prince George's christening, gave the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge some advice on parenthood.

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury said, "What a treat; what an amazing gift; what wonderful times that you will have. There'll be great times and tough times - there always are with children. Through Christening, you're bringing God into the middle of it all."

During the service, the Archbishop of Canterbury will be splashing holy water on Prince George's head three times instead of immersing him.

Prince George's christening is "an extraordinary moment" according to the archbishop. Although the event is one of the most important event in Kate Middleton's and Prince William's lives and that of Prince Harry as well, Cressida Bonas will not be by his side.

Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry have been rumoured to tie the knot by 2014, but according to an observer, this may not be happening.
