Spoiler alert: This feature contains major “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” spoilers.

The CW Network’s promo video for “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” Season 1, episode 9 entitled “Going to the Beach with Josh and His Friends!” teased that Rebecca’s plan to win back Josh involves a luxurious party bus, the beach and her charm and wit. However, Josh’s girlfriend Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz) will also be around so the viewers can expect an escalating tension between the two ladies.

Rebecca and Valencia have been at odds with each other since the second episode of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” because Valencia found out that Rebecca used to date Josh. The CW TV series’ Thanksgiving episode once again touched on the Rebecca versus Valencia storyline when Rebecca attended the Chan family Thanksgiving festivities and Josh’s family, particularly his mother, liked Rebecca than Valencia.

The mid-season finale episode even concluded with Greg Serrano (Santino Fontana) kissing Rebecca’s neighbor and new friend, Heather Davis (Vella Lovell), after spending Christmas with Greg’s family.

Meanwhile, TVGuide has listed down a couple of reasons why people, who have not watched “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” yet, should see the show. The report pointed out that the TV series’ title and musical concept is a little off-putting to some viewers but the episodes are entertaining because of its different dark humour, approach and discussion on mental health and relationships. The cast’s remarkable songs and performances are catchy enough even though some viewers dislike musicals.
