Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., an American Southern country themed chain of restaurants and gift stores founded in 1969 in Lebanon, Tennessee (TN), announced on Dec. 22, 2013 that they will bring back selected "Duck Dynasty" products that were deemed "offensive" in its stores' shelves just a day after announcing that it was pulling it out.

According to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., they were concerned that some "Duck Dynasty" products might offend some of their guests that's why the company made a decision to remove it from their stores.

In a surprising turn of events, Cracker Barrel apologized for this move and announced that they will return the "Duck Dynasty" products that were pulled out of the company's lineup. Cracker Barrel claims that a lot of their loyal customers were actually offended by the decision to remove the so-called "offensive" "Duck Dynasty" products. Of course, the last thing that they want is to offend them.

Below is Cracker Barrel's company statement/letter to Cracker Barrel customers which was posted on the company's official Web site.

Letter to Cracker Barrel Customers December 22, 2013:

"Dear Cracker Barrel Customer:

When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that's just what we've done.

You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren't shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings. You flat out told us we were wrong.

We listened.

Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores.

And, we apologize for offending you.

We respect all individuals right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not mean to have anyone think different.

We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of our Cracker Barrel family."

A&E's "Duck Dynasty" is an American reality television series featuring the lives of the Robertson family including Phil, Si, Jep, Willie, Jase, Kay, Corie and John Luke. It also shows the Robertson family's successful family-operated business called Duck Commander. It is based in Monroe, Louisiana (LA). Duck Commander makes products specifically for duck hunters and its main product is the Duck Commander, which is used to make duck calls.

"Duck Dynasty" is also known for the Robertson men's long beards as well as their outspoken religious views. In fact, 67-year-old Robertson patriarch Phil is in hot water these days for the anti-gay remarks that he said during an interview with GQ magazine. A&E has suspended Robertson for his comments.

When asked by GQ on what he considers sinful, Robertson said that it starts from homosexual behavior.

"Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," he says. Then he paraphrases a verse from the Corinthians: "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers - they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right," said Robertson in the GQ Magazine interview.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. did not say which "offensive" items were pulled out from its shelves and brought back again in their stores. Nevertheless, in the Cracker Barrel online store under the Ducks and Ducks Commander Collection, it still has the Si-Cology 1 Book, the Happy Happy Happy Book and other Duck Commander merchandise such as tumblers, t-shirts, scarves, caps, hoodies, lamps, jelly beans and games.
