After a long battle with cancer, comedian Taylor Negron died on Jan. 11, Sunday at the age of 57. He was last seen in 2013 films “Scoot & Kassie's Christmas Adventure” with Luke Perry and Ariana Bagley and “Santorini Blue” with Dierdre Lorenz, Matthew D. Panepinto and Richard Belzer.

The late comedian’s cousin, Chuck Negron, of the 1970's band Three Dog Night, took to YouTube to announce the sad news saying, “I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away. His mother, his brother Alex and my brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him. May he rest in peace.”

Before his passing, the comedian filmed the upcoming drama sci-fi film “Alienated” opposite George Katt and Jen Burry. The specific release date of the film, which was written and directed by Brian Ackley, is yet to be announced.

Like Kathy Griffin, Billy Crystal, Eric Stonestreet, Ben Stiller and Dane Cook, Katt also took to Twitter to pay tribute to the late comedian tweeting, “Rest in Peace to a dear friend Taylor Negron #TaylorNegron.”

Three days after it was published on YouTube on Jan. 10, the 26-second clip titled “We just lost a wonderful man, my cousin Taylor Negron” reached more than 115,000 views with almost 300 likes. Watch it here:
