“The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder and fiancée Nikki Reed have already decided on a couple of things for their wedding day. The engaged couple reportedly want an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony on their special day.

An unnamed source close to Ian and Nikki exclusively revealed to Hollywood Life about the couple’s plan of an intimate and outdoor wedding. “They definitely want the feel of it to be outside near where they live,” the source shared.

The source added that the couple also talked about having their pets or “babies” present at the big event. For the fans wondering if thousands of people will be invited to the wedding, the source further revealed that Ian and Nikki’s wedding guest list will mostly have close family.

Aside from planning their wedding, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are also busy being animal rights advocates. On Tuesday, March 3, actress Nikki Reed shared on her Instagram account iamnikkireed that she is headed to the State Capitol in California to testify for Assembly Bill 147 where cats and dogs could be given the opportunity to be adopted after they have been tested on.

“Animals used for science should not be discarded—the cruelty that they endure being used for research purposes is harsh enough. Let's not further the abuse by claiming the rescues are not equipped to help them live out the rest of their lives peacefully,” the 26-year-old “Twilight” actress posted on the social media site.

In another post, Nikki Reed shared an image of her beagle friend Emma. The actress shared that Emma is a survivor from a San Francisco testing facility and the holes in the beagle’s ears are proof to the horror she endured at the facility. Click HERE to see photo.

Nikki Reed’s last post on Instagram confirmed that the Higher Ed passed the Assembly Bill 147. The actress described the day long but beautiful because of the outcome.

Then, Nikki Reed expressed gratitude to the people who supported her. The actress added that the fight is not over yet and she is ready to take the second round at the Senate.

“We cleared the first hurdle. I love you guys. Truly. @beaglefreedom,” Reed posted on Instagram. Click HERE to see the attached photo.

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder expressed his support through an Instagram post. The 36-year-old “Vampire Diaries” star hopes that people will now be aware on the issue of testing beagles for research purposes and then discards them afterwards.

“Let's shine a light on the truth behind how we come to deem products acceptable for human use. @beaglefreedom,” the 36-year-old TVD actor posted on his Instagram account iansomerhalder on Tuesday, March 3. Click HERE to see photo.
