Memory maker and gaming hardware manufacturer Corsair has launched its first ever fully-built gaming PC, the Corsair One. The considerably small computer is packed with premium high-performance components, something the company has been known for over the last two decades. It’s now available to pre-order and will be available by month’s end.

The Corsair One is powered by the latest 7th generation Intel Core processors, the Intel 200 Series chipset and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or GTX 1070 graphics card. It has the power of a high-end full-sized gaming computer enclosed in a system that’s small enough to be placed into any living room, desktop or VR setup. The One is a silent and potent gaming machine that’s only 12 L in volume.

“With over 22 years powering the world’s best PCs, we knew now was the right time to bring together all our knowledge to create a truly exceptional PC,” said Corsair CEO and founder Andy Paul. “Corsair One is the result – unbelievably compact, quiet and with incredible performance, it changes what people will expect from a high-end PC.”

The new gaming PC features a milled aluminium exterior and subtle blue integrated lighting, and balances performance with quiet precision even at full load, thanks to its integrated liquid-cooling system. A supported convection cooling system takes in air through a duo of passive 240 mm radiators (available only on the Corsair One Pro) that fuses liquid-cooling with the maker’s own magnetic levitation ML-140 fan to dissipate heat through its case’s top. The resulting low temperature levels and marginal noise permit both the CPU and GPU to clock higher for an extended period of time.

Corsair One and Corsair One Pro
The Corsair One and the Corsair One Pro each come with a comprehensive two-year warranty and Corsair’s global customer support network. Corsair

The Corsair One is VR-ready with its liquid-cooled Intel Core i7 7700 CPU and air-cooled 8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 while the Corsair One Pro takes it up a notch with dual liquid-cooling for both its Intel Core i7 7700K and 8 GB GeForce GTX 1080. The rest of the internals include an 80 Plus Gold SFX PSU, a Z270 motherboard with USB 3.1 Type-C, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2,400 MHz DDR4 DRAM, 1 TB or 2 TB HDD and SSD storage options of 240 GB, 480 GB or 960 GB.

It’s also great to know that Corsair’s first full gaming PC comes with all the essentials, but sans the despised bloatware. Game launchers from the likes of Good Old Games, Steam, Battle.net, Origin and Uplay come with the 64-bit Windows 10 Home system, but no sponsored browsers, anti-virus software and other apps are included.

The Corsair One systems are now available to pre-order in North America, Europe and Australia from the company’s authorised retailers and distributors, and are set to be available in late March. The Corsair One (US$1799.99 / AU$2,649) and the Corsair One Pro (US$2,199.99 / AU$3,149) each come with a comprehensive two-year warranty and Corsair’s global customer support network.
