A Molotov cocktail is thrown

Digital Spy reports that the first "Corrie" episode on Friday, which airs on ITV at 7:30 pm BST, will show a young person throwing a Molotov cocktail at the Bistro. Before the attack, Phelan helped fit new locks to the door while Michelle scrubbed the RIP graffiti off the wall. Robert also returned home and apologised to Michelle. He told her about getting mugged after drinking at the casino and spending the night in a police cell.

Gina's financial woes

Elsewhere, Gina will discover a lot of unpaid bills in her mail. Sophie, who is unaware of Gina's financial troubles, will demand payment for the money owed to her. Thankfully, Gina will get a bonus at work for being the most productive factory girl.

Leanne receives an unexpected cheque

As for Toyah, she'll inform Leanne about her appointment with her In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) consultant. Gail will give Leanne a cheque worth £25,000 (AU$41,092.75), which was from Nick. It's a gift from the sale of the flat. Stunned, she will show the cheque to Peter and insists that she'll pay for their IVF.

Moira gets on Liz's nerves

Moira will reprimand Liz for chatting with Dr Gaddas when she is supposed to be working. Liz tries to give Moira some advice, but Moira just tells her to stick to her job of answering telephones. This will make Liz furious.

Michelle and Robert report The Bistro attack to the police

The second episode on Friday, which will air at 8:30 BST on ITV, will feature Robert and Michelle reporting the attack and the vandalism at the Bistro to the police. They also suspect Rich to be behind it.

Meanwhile, Sophie will corner Gina and demand payment for her debt. Gina will hand her the money even if she needs it to pay more bills. Plus, Steve will call Peter to ask if he can give Liz some shifts behind The Rovers' bar. However, when Peter talks to Liz about it, he'll discover she's not interested in it. Peter will realise it's just Steve's idea after all.
