Jennifer Lawrence mocks the tabloid magazines that keep making stories up about her. She thinks the stories are hilarious. She also opens up about what she thinks of the fat-shaming problem in Hollywood.

Speaking with E Online while at the Comic-Con promoting “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2,” the actress shared that she personally find the tabloid stories funny, even those that are not about her and about other celebrities. She shared that when reading outrageous headlines, she can even sometimes catch herself being intrigued until she remembers that none of the stories are really valid. "Like I'll see like something on the cover of something and be like, 'Wow! They broke up?' You're like, 'Why are they…' and I'm like, ‘What are you doing? You know none of this is real!’" she said, laughing.

On stories about her on the other hand, she said it is particularly funny that tabloid news can report that she is broke up with someone and move in with them on the same week. She said she is not pregnant, as some tabloids reported her to be. She said the tabloids can be so “fictional,” they do not deserve attention.

On the same Comic-Con even, Vulture magazine reports that Jennifer Lawrence also spoke candidly, this time with regard fat-shaming that is rampant in the industry to which she belongs. She said that fat shaming is a real problem in the industry, but the focus should stray from A-list stars such as her, or someone who is already at a certain place of his or her career. She said that some people cannot see that the fat shaming issue is still a problem in the industry since most of the major stars certainly do not look skinny or underweight anymore.

However, she said that what people do not see is the plight of those yet to get meaty roles. For women starting out at the industry, sometimes their weight can really be the main barrier for them to get good roles and be successful. She said because she was fortunate enough to be given a lot of opportunities at the onset, she cannot speak for those who are yet to have their lucky breaks. This is why the "X-Men: Apocalypse" star said that the focus should be on these women still trying to get projects, but cannot because of their weight. “I would be interested to hear someone who is not in two franchises answer that question,” she said.
