Coldplay recently received three Grammy nominations for their sixth album "Ghost Stories," which was released in May 2014. In a recent interview with Zane Lowe of BBC radio, band vocalist Chris Martin revealed that the band is already working on their seventh studio album, "Head Full of Dreams," which is likely to be their last album.

According to Inquisitr, Martin said that the seventh album might be the band's last album. He also said that recording their new album is like working on the final chapter of a book. He compared it to the last book of the "Harry Potter" series. The band's frontman claims that they have to think of it as their last project, otherwise the band "wouldn't put everything into it." "That's not to say there won't be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something," the singer said.

Forbes thinks that the statement made by Chris is ambiguous, as his words also suggest that the band gets motivated by considering its seventh album as its last work. By working on their music with a certain attitude, the group expects to create a unique and interesting album.

The 37-year old singer confirmed that they plan to go on a tour to promote "Head Full of Dreams" after its release, according to Mail Online. However, the band has not yet revealed any plan of going on a tour for their sixth album "Ghost Stories."

Martin recently performed at the surprise World AIDs Day concert on Dec. 1. USA Today said that the British Singer, together with Bruce Springsteen a.k.a "The Boss," were substitute vocalists at the event. The two were filling in for Bono, the U2 frontman, who was recovering from an accident and could not perform at the time. Martin was wearing a T-shirt that had "SUBSTITU2" sang "Beautiful Day" and "With or Without You" printed on it.

The winner of seven Grammy awards Coldplay has earned Grammy 2015 nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Film.
