The memorable Atlanta hip-hop duo, OutKast will return to set the Coachella 2014 stage on fire. The members of OutKast, Big Boi and Andre 3000, described themselves as "ice cold" rappers in their smash hit "Hey Ya!" (2003). Organisers of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced late Wednesday that OutKast will headline this year.

The performance at Coachella 2014 will be OutKast's first after a near seven-year hiatus, after the release of "Idlewild" (2006), a movie musical. Andre 3000 and Big Boi have been active after 2006 with solo projects. Andre 3000 worked with artists like Beyoncé and Drake and portrayed Jimi Hendrix in a biopic, while Big Boi released his second solo album in 2012.

OutKast have been instrumental in broadening the sound of hip-hop and fans have been eagerly waiting for the reunion.

Decision of Big Boi and Andre 3000 to bring back OutKast at Coachella is nothing less than awesome.

Coachella has been renowned for bringing high-quality musicians under one stage, also it is known for some really cool reunions like Rage Against the Machine back in 2007 and Pavement in2010.

Last year was a dull one for Coachella with few surprises. Red Hot Chili Peppers made it for the third time at Coachella and was one of the headliners with Stone Roses.

With OutKast as one of the headliners this year, Coachella seems to heat things up with the "ice cold" rappers.

Other acts to watch out for at Coachella 2014 are Motorhead, Little Dragon, Lana Del Ray, Lorde, Arcade Fire, Disclosure, Neutral Milk Hotel, Superchunk, the Toy Dolls, John Newman, The Replacements, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, James Vincent McMorrow, Surfer Blood, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Pharrell Williams, Foster the People, Fat Boy Slim, The Knife, Chromeo, Elie Goulding, Haim, The Afghan Whigs, Flume and many more.

Coachella 2014 from April 11-13 and April 18-20. Tickets available from Friday (1 p.m. ET) at Coachella.com.
