Manhattan Magazine has a new cover girl, and it's Christina Ricci looking gorgeous and refined in dark ensembles.

The young star-turned A-list-celebrity is now on the cover of the September/ October issue of Manhattan Magazine, looking all grown up and demure. The "Pan Am" star talked about her past roles as a child and growing, up, and how she managed to stay on top after all these years.

"I loved playing the roles that I did as a child. I've always been quite happy with the identity they've given me as long as people don't take that too literally. I think they gave me a great depth of position as an actress from which to start my adult career," says the actress in the interview. Ricci was talking about her earlier roles in Addam's Family, Casper, Now and Then and the likes.

Ricci also talked about being one of the lead actresses in the new TV series, Pan Am, as one of the stewardess who made the Air Line the "most glamorous" way to get around the world. Ricci specifically bordered on the issue how Pan Am is often compared to the Emmy-winning series, Mad Men.

"It's a great comparison to get; Mad Men is a great show and I'm a huge fan. But that does focus more on a man's experience of that time period and this is much more about these women." Ricci said in the same Manhattan magazine interview.

"These were really women who were taking control of their lives and living in a very feminist kind of way. They weren't the average women" concluded the "Sleepy Hollow" star.
