After publicly admitting that she has been opening Rihanna’s mails and defending Kim Kardashian from the socialite’s robbery incident in France, Chrissy Teigen set her Twitter account to private.

The 30-year-old wife of singer-songwriter John Legend has protected her Tweets days after Kardashian’s robbery incident was reported in Paris.

Replying to a probing fan, the celebrity model who used to speak her mind on Twitter admitted that she is not “strong enough.”

“It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people,” she wrote in reply. “I just feel like I’m absorbing bad s**t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.”

As of press time, Teigen has earned 2.9 million followers since joining the micro-blogging site in May 2009. She has posted at least 58,000 Tweets so far.

Teigen admits opening Rihanna's mail

Earlier, the “Lip Sync Battle” star appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, wherein she admitted to prying on Rihanna’s bills and fan mails that arrive on her new pad that used to belong to the “This is What You Came For” singer.

“I never in my life think that I will have a Rihanna pad ever,” she told the comedian host. “I get a bill of hers and I really want to somehow give it back to her…. Rihanna, you owe $18 to [inaudible].”

“You’re opening her mail?” DeGeneres said. “You know it’s illegal right?”

“Is it?” Teigen quipped. “But it’s my house now.”

“Oh my God, are you going to edit this?” she said launghing, apparently ashamed of her revelation.

On Monday, Teigen faced a barrage of haters after Tweets assailing Kardashian for flaunting her wealth flooded the social media platform.

“No one is begging you for sympathy. I know the game plan is to naturally hate celebrities,” Teigen replied to a troll.

“Fame is interesting. Celebs are supposed to love you guys while also knowing you'd make a meme of our dead bodies to get retweets.

“Please do not think that I think celebrities are special snowflakes. I just miss empathy, in general, for everyone.”
