Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky have adopted a dog. The couple who has been married for more than three years are reportedly quite excited about the new member in their family.

Elsa took to Instagram and posted the picture of their new pet. She captioned it as "who could've say[sic] no! Our new family member. #cute #puppy."

"Thank you, I'm most excited about the alive portion of that statement, and the sexy part is a bonus," Chris said. "This is based on an IQ test and not just physical appearance," he joked, as quoted by Daily Mail. Hemsworth said that he and his wife Elsa found it funny when his name for the "Sexiest Man Alive" title was announced.

Elsa and Hemsworth met through a common friend in 2010. According to E Online, they have fallen more in love since extending their brood. The actor feels that being a father has helped him grow as a person.

Chris and Elsa's kids are bilingual. Elsa has Spanish roots and she has made sure that her children speak both English and Spanish fluently.
