Rapper Chris Brown is reportedly engaged in child support battle with the mother of his eleven month old baby Royalty. The proud dad introduced his baby girl to the world during the recent Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. But things are not good between him and the baby's mom Nia Guzman.

Brown was paying his ex-girlfriend Guzman a sum of U.S. $2,500 dollars monthly for upbringing his daughter Royalty, TMZ writes. But Guzman allegedly demanded a whopping sum of U.S. $15,000 instead, says the website. This prompted Brown to stop the monthly sum of U.S.$ 25000 to his ex-girlfriend as he found the money demanded was “ridiculous.” The rapper was adamant that he will not “pay a dime above U.S. $2,500,” writes the website.

The rapper claims that his daughter is suffering because of Guzman's erratic demands. He has expressed his desire to keep Royalty. The website also reports that Guzman's lawyer named Carl Moore will initiate the custody battle in a time trame of fifteen days. In addition to the payments that were missed by Brown since March, Guzman will demand child support and also ask for a considerable amount of monthly hike.

The drama started when Brown ended his four year old relationship with model Karrueche Tran in March. Tran broke-up with Brown on Twitter after she came to know about Brown and his baby from a news on Internet. “Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me," she wrote at the time on Twitter. Tran also accused Brown of still seeing his ex-girlfriend singer Rihanna while he was dating her.

However, Brown seems to have embraced father hood in a good way after it became public that he is the father of the baby. The rapper has flooded his Instagram with various adorable pictures of Royalty and called the baby her “twin” and “princess” in many such pictures. He was also seen proudly holding Royalty in his lap at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.
