Chris Brown disappointed his Canadian fans when he had to abruptly cancel his concert in Montreal and Toronto Tuesday night. The singer was denied entry at the Canada-U.S. border just a few hours before his concert in Montreal.

On Tuesday afternoon, Chris Brown took to his Twitter and gave a shout out to his fans regarding his ordeal. The singer said he would not be able to make it to his concert because he was denied entry at the border. "The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!” his tweet reads.

He also had to cancel his Wednesday show at the Bell Centre at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre because of this. He expressed his frustration over the matter, tweeting that both shows were sold out. Live Nation, the promoter of the said shows, also confirmed the cancellation of the shows “due to immigration issues," stating refunds are available to ticket holders.

Brown’s spokesperson, Nicole Perna, also confirmed the said entry denial. Perna asserted that Brown is allowed to apply to return at a much later date and said the singer has plans of doing just that. Fans were beyond disappointed. Some said they traveled from the U.S. to catch the concert.

This is not the first time that the famed singer dealt with issues when going overseas to perform, leaving fans disappointed. On New Years Eve, he was slated to go to the Philippines and perform for his Filipino fans as they count down the hours to 2015, but he was not able to make it. The singer lost his passport the day before his scheduled concert. He was set to perform along with other artists at the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena but the organizer behind the said performance, the Maligaya Development Corp. said they were only informed by Brown’s local representatives on the day itself that he would not be able to make it.

Chris Brown at the time, also used his Twitter to inform his fans that he would not be able to make it. He also promised fans that he would see them “in spring.”
