It looks like Chris Brown and violence go hand in hand. The “Loyal” singer was attacked by two men outside a nightclub in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

The singer, however, escaped the attack unhurt as the security came to his rescue, Mirror reported. The report also said that it seemed that Brown started the fight, without revealing the reason behind the altercation.

Meanwhile, Brown’s Australian tour is still in jeopardy, although tickets have gone up for sale online. Last week, his visa application was rejected by Australian government because of his domestic violence record. The singer, however, continues to be hopeful that the four-city concert tour would go ahead as planned. And he is now using a humble approach to get entry into Australia, and to show his changed attitude, he has taken the social media route.

Once known as an abuser, he is now presenting himself as the mascot against domestic violence. He tweeted “I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness on domestic violence”. Brown thinks that celebrities have the power to influence public opinion, and he wants to channel his stardom to help a positive cause.

“The youth don't listen to parents nor do they listen to PSA's,” he said. “Youth is deeply influenced by the entertainers,” and Brown for one wants to become the entertainer who the youngsters look up to. He wants to create public awareness to prevent spousal abuse.

”I am not the pink elephant in the room anymore,” he added, suggesting that is no longer the violent man. Brown was sentenced to five years of probation in 2009 for assaulting then girlfriend Rihanna.

Earlier this week, a Notice of Intention to Consider Refusal of visa was issued to Brown. This development was confirmed by Australian Immigration Minister, Peter Dutton. When such a notice is issued to an applicant, he or she must present material regarding his purpose of visit within 28 days.

After examining the presented material, the department of immigration and border protection decides whether the applicant is fit to enter the country or not. Such decisions are made after the completion of 28 days.
