Sadly, there is no doubt that he is the biological father of Louie. Gabi is heartbroken and, together with Casey (Jesse Spencer), they immediately seek the help of a notable adoption attorney who tells them immediately that, in almost all cases, the biological parents win guardianship.

Later on, Gabi and Casey meet up with Louie’s father Andre and tell him that Louie had been a very good boy despite all that he has gone through. Louie admits that he had just come back from Afghanistan and that they have been good to his son, but his parents and sisters want Louie back.
