Viewers would agree that the previous episode of "Chicago Fire" showed some really hard times for Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney). However, there is some good news ahead. He has emerged from prison and will not be facing charges for what happened with the accident.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “Chicago Fire” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the next episode airs.

On the next episode of “Chicago Fire,” titled “People We Meet,” it will not be all good for Severide. There could be a lot of drama for him as he has to move forward with a new effort when it comes to the marrow donation. However, something could get in the way.

The official synopsis on NBC reveals that Severide will agree to a bone marrow donation, but a work accident will throw everything into a flux. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Gabby Dawson (Monica Raymund) will try to find harmony at home. In the meantime, Otis Zvonecek (Yuri Sardarov) and Mouch McHolland (Christian Stolte) will decide to film a PSA, which will encourage people to join the Fire Department, but they later on hit a creative wall.

Given the weight that viewers experienced during the previous episode, it would be nice to have something light once in a while. Otis and Mouch are very spirited characters in the show and they might just deliver what is needed.

Spoilers also reveal that the fight for Louie will continue in this upcoming episode. After Andre (Charles Brice) misses his meeting with his biological son, he returns to mess things up further for the boy’s parents, Matt and Gabby.

In the promo, the estranged father is shown declaring that he is taking the matter regarding his son’s custody to court. The adoption attorney even says that the biological parents have a high chance of winning the said case. How this newly married couple will face their first major challenge remains to be seen when this episode airs.

This upcoming episode of “Chicago Fire,” titled “The People We Meet,” will air on January 10, 2017 on NBC. It also airs on Foxtel in Australia.
