Chevrolet revealed the seventh-generation Corvette at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show showcasing the new engine, improved technologies and much better look. The C7 is the not only new car from Chevy. The company has also released its Malibu and Silverado series - perfect treats for the car enthusiast.

C7 features a 6.2-liter small-block V-8 engine. GM called the engine as LT1. The LT1 V-8 engine provides approximately 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Stingray can go up to 60 mph in just a little under four seconds. The top speed is around 180 to 190 mph.

Chevrolet Stingray starts at $51,995. Price includes destination charge.

Facelifted Malibu

The new Chevrolet Malibu has more space, more fuels-saving features and improved suspension set-up. Though engineering and styling chances are not applicable to Holden Malibu - the model will be released locally next week.

The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu has a front end designed inspired by the new-generation Impala. The model arrives just 18 months following the launch of the eight-generation mid-sized sedan in the United States. General Motors CEO Dan Akerson explained that the immediate redesign of the car was due to slow initial sales. North American automotive media also gave unfavorable reviews.

Chevrolet Silverado

Many industry experts felt that Chevrolet Silverado only trailed behind Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram. Yet, 2014 may spell differently for the new Silverado.

Chevy's latest pickup truck is available in three engine configurations: two V-8s and one V-6. There is also the crew cab featuring 5.3L Ecotec V-8. Prices start at $32,701. This will include $995 DFC just the same with the previous Silverado. The trucks offered at the moment only have 5.3L V-8 crew cabs. Regular cabs and double cabs such as the V-6 and 6.2L V-8 Silverados will be available in the following months.

The Silverado is equipped with Chevrolet MyLink. This is an information center allowing drivers and passengers to link 10 devices to the car. These include SD cards, smartphones and MP3 players. MyLink has voice recognition functions allowing the driver to play music, browse media and control other functions without touching or looking at the screen.

This could just be the year for Chevy's Silverado.
