Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is planning to sue the adult entertainment websites that have illegally used her face and name in some of their porn videos. A source close to the “X-Factor” judge has revealed Cheryl’s reasons for taking legal action.

The source told the Daily Star that Cheryl feels embarrassed at being linked to these explicit videos where she has no knowledge of partaking. The judge reportedly also thinks that these fake adult videos can do serious damage to her reputation.

“She hates the fact the porn site is using her name to drag punters in to watch their lurid videos and make money from her fame. It is embarrassing for her to be linked to this kind of video because she works very hard to cultivate her image,” the source told the Daily Star on Sunday.

A spokesman for Cheryl has also revealed that her lawyers are looking into removing the said porn videos online.

One of the fake porn videos posted on the adult entertainment site Pornhub show Cheryl’s smiling face placed over another naked body. The explicit video titled “Cheryl Cole Fake Sex Video” has received almost one million views, according to Mirror UK .

Another adult video with the tagline, “Watch Cheryl Cole lookalike get f***ed” shows an adult entertainer who is the spitting image of the 32-year old. The lookalike is also using Cole, Cheryl’s maiden name, as her screen name. The video has since received over 800,000 views according to the Daily Star.

It’s believed Pornhub users are cashing in on the popularity of Cheryl and using her image on their explicit videos. The XXX site is said to be free of use and users are taking advantage of her through profitable advertising deals. However, sources close to Mrs. Fernandez-Versini think these fake porn movies are giving her fans the false idea that it is really her sex video being leaked online.

Cheryl’s lawyers are reportedly doing their best to have these videos removed. Her “X-Factor” bosses are said to be in doubt that they can be taken down online and are also worried that it may take months for the said videos to be removed, if possible. Mirror UK says the fake porn videos went viral after Cheryl’s return to judge the “X-Factor.”
