In less than two weeks, "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" will be making its debut on the Xbox and starting off fans' journey for Halo leading to the "Halo 5: Guardians" in 2015. To commemorate this, Microsoft has recently released a new trailer that shows off some of the cinematic effects and scenes coming in "Halo 2: Anniversary."

According to Xbox Wire, the developer announced that the trailer was the work of Blur Studios, which is responsible for other cool trailers including the "Batman: Arkham" games and the "Star Wars" series. The good news is that the trailer, seen below, is not the only place where fans can get a glimpse of the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection."

On Nov. 10, the HaloFest will commence just a day before the launch. It's also the chance for fans to catch "Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer beta before it is launched on Dec. 29. The HaloFest will also give players access to the pilot episode of "Halo: Nightfall" series and exclusive interviews with developer 343 Industries.

There are also those who have managed to compile videos of "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," which showcase some of its strengths and changes. VG 24/7 has managed to land a couple of videos that show off walkthroughs of levels for "Halo CE," "Halo 2," "Halo 3" and "Halo 4." The link above features all of the videos. It's not really a spoiler especially for fans who have been playing the game long enough.

Also, before the release, the questions of some fans, which is aimed at how the ranking system will work for "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," has been explored and answered by IGN. Speaking with 343 Industries, the sources reported that it will be a skill-based system following the one featured in "Halo 2." "You will have a skill-based ranking per each playlist; we ultimately decided not to have a 'master' ranking across all four games combined, given that player skill and approach varies radically between game chapters," said the developer.

That does not mean that there are no new systems put in place for "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." There is a new modified system that will also make use of players' skills, only this time, it's for matchmaking. The evaluation for skills will occur after every match, so expect your scores to keep fluctuating with each game, depending on the outcome.
