Before he landed the role of SAMCRO’s Jax Teller in Kurt Sutter’s “Sons of Anarchy,” Charlie Hunnam was playing Nathan Maloney on his first TV role in Channel 4’s drama “Queer as Folk” (1999-2000). “Sons of Anarchy” fans will get their daily fix of the British actor as Logo TV is set to feature the re-run the original U.K. version of the groundbreaking show.

Chronicling the lives of three gay men living in Manchester’s gay village, the British television series was directed by Charles McDougall, Sarah Harding and Menhaj Huda featuring the 18-year-old Charlie Hunnam and two his co-stars Aidan Gillen and Craig Kelly.

Created by Russell T. Davies, “Queer as Folk” features the “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” star as a 15-year-old gay kid who falls for the arrogant and much older guy played by “Game of Thrones” star Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger). Based on the report, the sex scenes between the two stars were “shockingly explicit” even for a TV show during that time.

"The level of nudity that I do now, which is taking my shirt off, doesn’t bother me at all,” the “Crimson Peak” actor told Elle Canada during his latest interview. “I did full frontal when I was 18 ... but because I was playing a 15-year-old character, the censorship people wouldn’t allow us to put it on TV. I think when I was young, I was a little bit more fearless with that stuff."

“Queer as Folks” was on aired on April 4 to April 11 on Logo TV in the U.S, the show will be followed by Davies’ new series “Cucumber and Banana” that is scheduled to premiere on April 13.

Meanwhile, Charlie Hunnam recently celebrated his 35th birthday and has gone a long way from his “Queer as Folks” days. Now on his way to become one of Hollywood’s leading man, the British hunk is breaking out from his TV role as he plays the young King Arthur in Guy Ritchie’s remake of the classic Arthurian tale.

The actor is also set to lead Brad Pitt’s new movie “The Lost City of Z” as he will portray British explorer Col. Percival Fawcett, who disappeared in 1925 while searching for mysterious city in the Amazon. The upcoming film also features “American Sniper” actress Sienna Miller and “Twilight” alum Robert Pattinson.
