“Outlander” fans have a chance to meet Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe in person by supporting a charity. Meanwhile, Heughan has a suggestion for Terry Dresbach for a season 4 costume. The cast and crew have wrapped up season 3, which is currently in post-production, while the writers are already back to work on the next instalment.

The Peak Posse is currently raising funds for Cahonas Scotland through a raffle. The winners of the contest will get a chance to meet Heughan (Jamie) and Balfe (Claire). The contestants will have to make donations in multiples of $10 (about AU$13). Each $10 will be entitled for a raffle “ticket,” which will be used in selecting the final winner. The goal is to raise $10,000 (about AU$13,000), and it has already reached half the target.

Cahonas Scotland is raising these funds for Male Cancer Awareness. The campaign is intended to educate people about the signs and symptoms of male cancers, increasing early detection and saving lives. The Peak Posse, on the other hand, is a group of “Outlander” fans formed as a result of Heughan’s My Peak Challenge initiative. Apart from their passion for the show, the women in the group offer friendship and encouragement to be better in body, mind and spirit. The group also raises funds for charity organizations.

To take part in The Peak Posse’s Cahonas Scotland Raffle Basket, readers can donate at JustGiving. Along with the donation, the contestants are required to share their email addresses in the comments section for organizers to send them their “tickets” and inform them if they win.

Meanwhile, Heughan found a picture of a Siberian bear-hunting armour from the 1800s. The actor was so impressed with the armour, which has spikes all over the body, that he suggested it to costume designer Dresbach as something to consider for “Outlander” season 4.
