The Utah-based tech company is one of those companies that participated in the 2015 CES that is hardly known in the market but has something powerful in store for consumers. Saygus will be facing big players in the tech event and will give consumers their firsthand experience with the new mobile device.

The V2 or otherwise pronounced as "V-Squared" is powered by a Qualcomm 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor and uses the Android 4.4.4 Kitkat as its platform. The 5-inch smartphone sports an edge to edge 1080p full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is equipped with 3GB of RAM plus 64GB of onboard storage. The feature that makes the V2 standout is the two microSD card slots which are expandable from up to 128GB. In total, that would be an impressive 256GB added to the device's storage capacity, CNET reports.

Aside from the massive amount of storage space brought by the dual SD card slots, another important feature in the Saygus V2 is the built-in root access. According the company, it will be offering a rootable version but this feature is for those who are inclined to such operation.

The 5-inch V2 measures 67x137x9.7mm and weighs approximately 141 grams. Based on Android Central's review, the smartphone comes with a hefty 21-megapixel rear camera equipped with dual flash and a 13-megapixel front camera. It is interesting to note that both cameras have the optical image stabilisation feature. The V2 is also equipped with an IR blaster, a 60GHz mobile transceiver, a fingerprint scanner, and built-in Harman Kardon sound technology with 3D audio.

Additionally, the android smartphone is also features the IPX7 rating, which makes the device water resistant and can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for about 30 minutes. Its back casing is lined with Kevlar fiber. The V2 is packed with 3,100mAh battery which has wireless charging capabilities.

Saygus has not announced any details about its cost and its availability in the market. However, online pre-orders for the unlocked version of the V2 is said to start this month and global shipping might commence at the first quarter of this year.
