The Smartwatch 3, just like its predecessor features a 1.6-inch 320×320 TFT LCD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. The smartwatch also features Bluetooth 4.0 and is packed with 420mAh battery. The update for the smartwatch also includes an IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification. The new wearable can be charged with any standard microUSB cable.

Sony is also working hand in hand with various developers to provide more functionality to the watch. By January, all SmartWatch 3 units will come standard with the Golfshot and iFit apps out of the box. But the biggest software announcement by Sony is about the app called Lifelog, a popular Android lifestyle app which is making its way to the SmartWatch 3, Techno Buffalo reports.

The inclusion of the Lifelog fitness tracking app as the Japanese company has revealed is definitely a plus on the wearable device. The app is capable of keeping track of how long the user spends doing anything like sitting while reading, driving in a car, or just simply walking around.

Still on CES2015, Mike Fasulo, the president and COO of Sony Electronics, also introduced the company's thinnest television line which comes at 0.2 inches. In comparison, the "ultra thin floating style" of new XBR X900C Series is without a doubt thinner than the Xperia smatphone. In addition, the improved Bravia 4K Ultra HD TVs will range from 43 to 75 inches.

According to PCMag's review, the new TV line boasts of its 3840x2160 4K resolution displays supported by a 4K processor called the X1. The impressive processor has the ability to analyse and adjust to 4K resolution regardless of the image source, thus resulting to superb viewing experience. The latest XBR X900C series will also be platformed by Google's Android OS which will allow the TV to seamlessly connect with any smartphones and tablets.

Sony is also introducing the SmartWatch 3 holder which will allow users to customise the SmartWatch 3 with any standard 24mm watch strap. Finally, the tech company has not revealed the price and the release date for the stainless steel SmartWatch 3.
