Garmin has partnered with famous potter, designer and author Jonathan Adler. The collaboration between the company and the designer has resulted to a range of chic, pattern-printed accessory bands that will target to improve the look of the Vívofit and the recently announced Vívofit 2. Such outstanding technology partnered with modern style, the Adler + Garmin range promises to be both useful and stylish.

Garmin dubbed the preppy line as the "Style Collection" which provides a more premium and high-end touch for the wearable devices. According to The Verge, Adler has turned the fitness trackers into more colourful devices and has innovated with a latching mechanism wherein the clasp can be tucked into place and should be rotated 90 degrees to lock the tracker on the wrist so it guarantees to cling despite a rigid workout or strenuous activity.

Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales said that the partnership between the company and Jonathan Adler has given the wearables a sense of combined fashion and usefulness. With the new collection, users will not compromise personal style and advanced technology. On the other hand, Jonathan Adler confessed that he himself is a fitness fanatic and is likewise thrilled to have worked with Garmin. The collection has brought stylish designs to the Vivofit line's interchangeable accessory bands.

Meanwhile, the Vivofit 2 has been updated to withstand constant activity and continued use. Garmin boasts of the wearables' one-year battery life, as well as its water resistance from up to 50 meters. The device can also be paired with a compatible heart rate monitoring app to track the wearer's heart rate. The Vivofit 2 can be synced with the user's smartphone with the Garmin Connect mobile app. With the new Style Collection, the Vivofit 2 comes in four different colours: black, white, navy, and pink.

Finally, the stylish fitness trackers will ship in the first quarter of 2015 and the Jonathan Adler + Garmin bands will arrive bundled with Vívofit 2 which can be purchased for US$139.99.
