'Catching Fire' On Set Stills Released [PHOTOS]
Jennifer Lawrence has definitely made her fans proud with her continuous wins from award events this year. From winning the People's Choice Awards to getting the Golden Globe win, Lawrence is proving she's the "Girl on Fire." Speaking of fire, here's all the latest on "The Hunger Games" sequel "Catching Fire" of which stars the talented and the lovely, Jennifer Lawrence.
Teaser photos care of Warner Brothers have already been released online enough to make "Tributes" squeal with delight. Back in 2012, fans had already seen a taste of the arena when Lawrence along with Hutcherson and Sam Claflin were spotted in a shoot at Hawaii. If that action wasn't enough, Director Francis Lawrence dropped another bomb with the theatrical teaser trailer of "Catching Fire."
While the film is set for November 22, 2013 release, the hype and hunger for Suzanne Collins film adapted novels are on an all-time high. All thanks to Entertainment Weekly and Murray Close, photos of the trio along with some behind-the-scenes stills have made it onto social networking sites enough to satiate the hunger of "Tributes" dying to see more action.
In one photo, Jennifer Lawrence who plays Katniss Everdeen is presenting her key speech during the victory tour. A very awkward looking Peeta Mellark, played by Josh Hutcherson, is seen beside her on stage. Another photo is that of Sam Claflin who plays Finnick Odair being unnaturally close to Jennifer Lawrence. Fans of the book definitely know this key scene. Last but not the least, the third still is a behind-the-scenes shot of Lawrence and Australian actor, Liam Hemsworth. The two are joined by Director Francis Lawrence.
The photos might be enough for fans but here's another interview with Jennifer Lawrence by Entertainment Weekly where the 22-year old opens up on her character, Katniss Everdeen.
"These are kids growing up in war who physically, emotionally can't love somebody," explains Lawrence.
"Katniss thinks she can't have a crush on a boy because she's worried about survival every single day. And she can't be a normal 16-year-old meeting her friend out in the woods and practicing kissing because that's not the world that they live in," added the Golden Globe winner.
