It’s the weekend once more, and players may want to log in to their favourite games to catch up on XP with Double XP Weekend events. For this weekend, there will be three games offering to double the XP earned for avid players.

‘Call of Duty Black Ops 3’

Another Double XP Weekend is coming to “Call of Duty Black Ops 3.” This time, developer Treyarch has limited it to a Double Weapon XP Weekend.

Announced over at Treyarch’s official Twitter, the Double Weapon XP Weekend has already started and will last until May 23, 10:00 a.m. PDT. This is just one of the activities that “Call of Duty Black Ops 3” players can enjoy.

Xbox One players can also get the Eclipse DLC, which is finally available after the PS4 early access. Eclipse will introduce four multiplayer maps and the Zombies campaign chapter. The expansion can be purchased for US$15 (approx. AU$20), but it will be for free for season pass holders.

‘Battleborn’

Fans of “Battleborn” can look forward to two things in the game. For this weekend, 2K has announced a Double XP event. This event will stretch beyond the weekend, however, as it is scheduled to end on May 25, Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. PDT

Detailed over the official “Battleborn” website, the developer said that earning double Command Rank and Character Rank experience can be done in all of the Story Mode missions and competitive multiplayer matches. All platforms and territories can access the Double XP event.

Apart from the Double XP Event, 2K has also teased the arrival of the first of the free playable characters for “Battleborn.” Alani will be debuting on May 31 on all platforms. She can be unlocked for 47,500 credits. Digital Deluxe and Season Pass holders can instantly unlock Alani via a Hero Key and play as Alani as early as May 24.

‘PlanetSide 2’

Continuing from May 13, “PlanetSide 2” players who may have missed the first-week run can still spend the entire weekend to get double the XP, as announced over the official “PlanetSide 2” website.

The Double XP event is for everyone, and it’s matched with a 20 percent discount on Utilities and Boosts. Among the boosts are XP boosts, resource boosts and Squad Experience Boosts. The last boost can also be bought for a good 30 days, which marks the return of the 30 Day Heroic Boost.

Best to take advantage of this event, as it will be ending permanently on Sunday, May 22 at 11:59 a.m. PDT.
