The much awaited teaser video of "Castle" Season 7 is out. It features some scenes of the previous season and new clips. The teaser reveals that Kate Beckett, Rick Castle's fiancée, does not find him in the burned out car. This confirms that he has vanished but is not dead.

The teaser also confirms the news that the premiere episode of "Castle" Season 7 does not have a time leap. Beckett is still in her wedding gown and can be seen near the burning car. "On the most important day of their lives ... why did the love of her life, vanish. The search is on for Castle," the voice-over says.

The teaser opens with Beckett looking radiant in her mother's wedding gown, while a happy looking Castle is driving towards the venue of his wedding. There is the sound of the crash and Castle's car is in flames. Beckett is seen close to the burning wreck. A fireman can be seen extinguishing the fire.

"He is not in the car," a completely drenched Beckett can be seen saying in the teaser. The final shot of the burned car reveals that there is no charred body inside it.

"Castle" Season 7 is scheduled to premiere on September 29. Fans of the show can expect an introduction of a new mythology that revolves around Castle. The car crash is related to the new mythology. New secrets from Castle's life are set to tumble out, which may cause a friction between Castle and Beckett.

Speaking about the premiere episode, David Amann, the new show-runner of the show, said to Give Me My Remote, "It's going to be dealing with the aftermath of what happened in the season finale. We have some really intriguing questions that are going to arise from this about what happened to Castle. So we're going to raise some interesting questions for the next couple of episodes in terms of what happened to Castle and why."

Meanwhile, Give Me My Remote has reported that Chad Collins is joining the cast of "Castle" as a guest star in the new season. He is expected to appear in episode 3, which is titled "Clear & Present Danger," as Tom Talmadge. The report describes the character as a "tech start-up entrepreneur who was assaulted under mysterious circumstances."
