"Back in the saddle with this punk again," Stana Katic teases Castle fans on Twitter with a photo carrying this caption. The "punk" is director Rob Bowman, who also directed "In the Belly of the Beast," "Dressed to Kill," and "Room 147," among others, in Castle Season 6.

Stana's tweet got a combined total of over 7,000 in retweets and favourites. Her Twitter profile photo shows an upset Katie Beckett, on the phone on her wedding day. It was earlier reported that the Castle Season 7 premiere features no time jump, so viewers hang on for what immediately happens next.

There are speculations that the Caskett wedding would happen within the first half of Castle Season 7, just as Booth and Brennan in FOX's "Bones" got married not long after its Season 9 premiere.

For his part, Nathan Fillion sat down with TVLine's Michael Aussiello at the San Diego Comic Con to talk about Castle Season 7. This is the longest time he's been employed, the "Firefly" lead said. Asked about the Caskett wedding, he seems to be implying that fans should not wait much longer for a wedding. (Watch the TVLine interview here.)

Aside from her photo with Rob Bowman, Stana Katic also teased fans with a funny "behind-the-scenes" photo featuring Jon Huertas (Espo). Check out this WhoSay photo. Fans waiting to see what happens next in Castle 7 can count on social media posts to help them bear the long wait.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly is trying to guess the cameo role that Nathan Fillion would play in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" film. The Castle actor was recently seen on NBC's "Community" as a guest star. Nathan really brings out the best in a geeky character, so It is likely for Castle Season 7 to have another sci-fi inspired episode similar to "Time Will Tell" in S6.

Yes, I'm writing and directing the sequel to #GuardiansoftheGalaxy for theaters July 28 2017. But first go see the first one out next week!
