Casio has launched the new Casio Pro Trek WSD-F20 outdoor smartwatch. The timepiece, which was first revealed in January at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2017), runs on Android Wear 2.0 and is ideal for the outdoors with its GPS functionality, full colour map display, offline map usability and up to 50 metres of water resistance. The new Pro Trek outdoor watch’s battery should last about one to two days under normal use, but it really depends on usage settings. With GPS on, the battery can withstand six hours to two days of use. When GPS is deactivated and only the Timepiece Mode is enabled, the watch can last for a month or more.

The Casio Pro Trek WSD-F20 Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch, which is priced at US$500 (AU$675), comes with a comfy urethane band, a protective bezel and different sized side buttons with button guards for superior functionality and durability. It’s available in two colour options: black and orange.
