Caroline Wozniacki will reportedly be training under the guidance of Arantza Sanchez Vicario to help her prepare for the clay court season. Vicario, a Spanish former World No. 1, is a three-time French Open champion (1989, 1994, and 1998). Wozniacki hopes that the pointers she will get from Vicario will help in her bid to win her first French Open title.

According to a report by Tennis Channel, Wozniacki has teamed up with the 29-time WTA champion Vicario as she continues to work her way through the clay court tournaments. She will be working with Vicario until the end of the clay court season.

Wozniacki has had several coaches all throughout her professional career as a tennis player. She has previously worked with Sven Groeneveld, who is currently the coach of Maria Sharapova. She was also coached by Ricardo Sanchez and Thomas Johansson in the past.

In October 2013, Wozniacki hired Thomas Hogstedt as his coach. Hogstedt had also worked with Sharapova and retired Chinese player Li Na before. However, their partnership ended not long after because she decided to split with Hogstedt three months later.

Following her split with Hogstedt, Wozniacki hired fellow Dane Michael Mortensen as his coach. Mortensen also used to coach Li Na, who won the 2011 French Open title under his guidance. Mortensen also lasted as Wozniacki’s coach for three months. Since parting ways with Mortensen, the current World No. 5 has been coached by his father Piotr.

Wozniacki will begin her clay court season at the 2015 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany from April 18 to April 26. It is one of the Women’s Tennis Association Premier tournaments. The women’s lineup include three-time defending champion Sharapova, Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova, Ana Ivanovic, Eugenie Bouchard, Ekaterina Makarova, Agnieszka Radwanska, Carla Suarez-Navarro, and Andrea Petkovic. Previous Stuttgart champions include Justine Henin, Lindsay Davenport, Kim Clijsters, Martina Hingis, Pam Shriver, and Martina Navratilova.
