UPDATE: 747 Crash Bagram: 7 Victims Identified, Weather Condition and Cargo Shift Possible Factors of the Plane Crash

A horrifying footage captured from a dashboard camera showing the Cargo Boeing 747 Crash at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan has surfaced online. The US-led military coalition confirmed that the plane crash killed the 7 American crew members onboard last Monday, April 29.

In the footage, the Boeing 747-400 takes off but appears to be suspended in the air for a few seconds before turning around to crash on the ground. Though there were no indications of a rebellious activity near the area, the US National Transportation Safety Board and the Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority are conducting their investigation on what caused the plane crash.

National Air Cargo, the carrier of the cargo plane, released a press statement regarding the accident on their web site and it reads:

"A National Airlines B747-400 cargo plane was involved in an accident at Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan today. At approximately 7 a.m. EST, National Flight NCR102 from Bagram to Dubai, UAE with seven crewmembers on board crashed on takeoff. None of the crew members survived. This was a purely cargo flight and no passengers were aboard. Cargo consisted of vehicles and routine general cargo."

Shirley Kaufman, the National Air Cargo (NAC) Vice President, revealed that the airlines company is an Orlando, Florida-based NAC subsidiary that carries vehicles and other shipments. The NAC Vice President confirmed as well that the onboard passengers were four pilots, two mechanics and the load master who is in-charge of the cargo's weight and balance. "Five of the seven fatalities were from Michigan," Kaufman stated.

According to the Fox 2 report, one of the passengers was identified as Brad Hasler from Michigan while the names of the other victims are not yet revealed.

Brad Hasler was the father of two children with a pregnant wife. His brother, Bill, released a written statement on Tuesday about the tragic accident.

"Yesterday morning our family learned of the terrible tragedy that occurred at Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan and that Brad was among the crew members who perished. Brad was a wonderful father to two young children, a beloved husband to a wife who is expecting another child, a loving son, and the most loyal and supportive brother I could have ever asked for," Bill Hasler wrote.

National Airlines President Glen Joerger assured that they will cooperate with the investigation in determining the cause of the plane crash. "Safety is always our top priority at National Airlines. This is a devastating loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with our crewmembers and their families," Joerger stated.

"Our focus at this time is on the family members of those we've lost and on assisting the NTSB and Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority in their investigations. As of now, the cause of the accident is unknown," the National Airlines President further added.
