“Captain America: Civil War” will reportedly set the stage for “Avengers: Infinity War 1&2.” Chris Evans who plays Captain America in the film recently revealed in an interview that “Captain America: Civil War” will act as a prequel to the upcoming Avengers film.

“They do, they have a lot of people in it… but, it’s to jump off into the next Avengers, ‘The Avengers: Infinity War.’ So ‘Cap 3′ is going to be the setup of the real battle. So yeah, there are a lot of people in “Cap 3,” said Evans to MTV News. Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and most of the actors who starred in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” will be seen in “Captain America: Civil War.” In the same interview, Mark Ruffalo who plays Hulk in the Avengers film hinted that he will not be seen in “Civil War,” though Johansson said that anything can happen at the last moment.

“Captain America: Civil War” will see formation of two groups amongst the avengers according to IMBD. Captain America and Iron Man will head each group. A civil war might take place between the two due to a difference in the opinion on the world's governments act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. The film will be directed by Russo brothers, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo and will be produced by Kevin Feige. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will write the screenplay of the film.

The shooting of “Captain America: Civil War” has already begun and the principal photography of the film will take place in at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia. Some parts of the film will be also filmed in Puerto Rico and Berlin. “Captain America: Civil War” is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016 in 3D and IMAX.

Meanwhile, not much is known about the “Avengers: Infinity War.” They are scheduled to be released in two parts “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” and “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2”, on May 4, 2018, and May 3, 2019, respectively.
